Found a long crack in the swing-arm of my 2006 Enduro over the weekend. Took it into the Spesh shop who are sending some pics over to HQ to see if I can get a replacement. I know the swing-arm only had a two year warranty whereas the rest of the frame is lifetime so I may have to put my hand in my pocket.
I am due to be riding this weekend and wondered if there is a slim chance the replacement swing-arm will be here by then? Anyone had anything similar and can give an idea on time scales?
I had a replacement back end in 3 days when I had my frame crack!
Spec UK were awesome and sorted it out FOC even though it was 2nd hand.
Do you live anywhere near their Chessington base?
IME their warranty turnarounds are very quick - I've picked up three frames (including one that was a full bike rebuild) in 2-4 days. Might obviously take longer if it's got to go through via your local Spesh shop though.
Don't live anywhere near there base unfortunatly otherwise I would just pop in.
Good to hear its a fast turn around, seems like there is still hope in getting to ride this weekend!
Depends what their stock is like. It took around three months from ordering to receiving to sort my SX Trail's swing arm.
