my 2012 shock has gone bonkers. the switch is loose but sometimes sits into position but never the 1 I want it in. lockout hardly ever works. will a service sort this prob or new shock needed.

Service should sort it most likely seals have blown causing oil loss/ gas into oil

thanks. it aint losing pressure or leaking though? but does seem a little stiff.

Internal gas leak then perhaps or a jammed rod although that's usually in conjunction with an oil leak out of the adjusters
