Has anyone tried one and have any opinions? I know they are one of the heaviest but, that aside, I believe they are also one of the most reliable with maybe the exception of GD's.

been using one for around 3 months now, I also have a GD on another bike (which I've had for 3+ years!). The command post is excellent, I've had no problems with it (though I do know earlier models had issues, I think this is all sorted now). Certainly looks nicer than the GD, but they both work well... One thing with the CP is the cable bends/lengthens when you drop the saddle, can be a pain if it gets in the way, this doesn't happen with the GD which is nice.
