Anyone running one?

Will it fit a 29 none boost yari with a guard?

What rim widths would work? 25mm?

Is it any good?

It ought to fit, because it's not a 2.6. And likewise it'll work on normal widths because it's a normal tyre. But I've not used one so that's all I've got.

My mates running one a rim about that size. Comes up the same size as my 2.35 Mavic tyre, so yes, it'll fit no problems. They said it's all right.

Im after something a little faster on tarmac that a magic mary 2.35 which can handle a little less pressure.

If the width is the same surely it gets extra volume by being taller?

Yup, it’s pretty tall but as mentioned above it only comes up to 2.35/4 wide on my 30mm rims.

Approx how much taller than a normal 2.35?

Is the butcher a similar type of tyre to the hans dampf?

I know someone running a 2.6 29er Butcher in an old set of non boost Rebas. This is on a Flow Ex. No clearance trouble, they simply aren't 2.6 tyres
