So who's doing it this year? Rumours are for a bigger better 'event village' - last year they put on a wicked course, even with thunderflashes and military night ex at the same time!

Last year i wasn't going to race at all, then at midnight at set2rise whilst i was pitbitching(eating junk and swigging beers) one of the pair hit a tree and pulled his shoulder out, so i jumped in to replace him.
Good fun event.
Well this year i'm not racing at all...........

Yep I'm in. May 23rd/24th.
Reports from fellow SPAM'ers is that the course is very good again with a few new twists and turns thrown in.
Better layout this year for the transitions too - sharki it's the 23rd/24th May, demo day on the saturday and racing through the night.
I'll be there, loved it last year!
200+ plus entries so far - double last years so should be a good turnout.
It's going to be Fab this year, more competitors, and the course is looking great with loads of singletrack, tight technical and it will be bone dry the same as last year?!?!?!?

if i read right, 500 riders on an eight mile course is going to give us loooads of elbow room! Lovely 😀
I'm entered in a team of 3, however I had to take one of the team to hospital last night after a major stack riding round Ashridge.
He assures me he'll be ok though.
I'm on JulianWilson's Trail Snails team with Fatmuthahubbard and a bloke called Brian. I think Julian has become our unofficial team captain, so he'll be to blame when we don't achieve a podium position.
