Anybody on here from the west sussex/chichester area that have regular rides or know of any biking clubs in the area holding regular off road rides?
Hi Glenn - we (myself and Singletrackmind regularly join BrightonMTB (brightonmtb.org) for their rides as they go to places from Eastbourne to, well next weekend, Winchester (and beyond).

Thanks for the replys guys, spent years riding around the brighton area with the old Sussex Uni MB club and was looking for more rides around the west sussex/hampshire way but will have a look at the Brighton MTB club.
Bunners 29" wheels is just so wrong, I cant get another bike she will kill me.
Sussex MTB hold a regular Tuesday night ride which now consists of two groups depending on how you are feeling on the day. There are also regular rides in the Worthing, Brighton, Whiteways (Bury Hill) Peaslake area if you fancy it.

They also run a shop ride from Quest Adventures in Broadwater, Worthing and the next one is this Saturday, its the most laid back social ride you will come across and ends at the best cake shop in West Sussex.

Bigsi - I may well be up for one of those - as soon as my back is put back together.....
Bigsi, sounds good, live just up the road from Bury Hill (houghton) and have spent many years (15) riding and building up at Peaslake so know those areas very well, looking at getting some rides west of chichester/houghton forest. Like the sound of the Quest rides, only been in the shop a few times but they seem decent guys, may tag along this weekend.
I'm up around Petersfield and sometimes ride with a group from there. Drop me an email and i'll try and pass on some local knowledge and contacts for you.
woodey - Be good to see you along on one of them as I've done a few of the Brighton MTB Thursday night rides and most of the Sussex-MTB stuff is of a fairly similar pace.
GlenG - Yep come along this weekend if your about. I'll be up @ Thetford this weekend for D2D but Jimbo, Deadly and a load of other regular Sussex-Mtbers will be doing the Quest ride. Jimbo will be leading the ride. He rides a Cover Hummer with red bits on it. Deadly will be the back marker prob on a Red Cove Stiffie or a Focus CX bike.

Glen, there is a local ride to you, this sat with the BrightonMTb lot, riding Kingley Vale area - have a look on their site. It's going to be lead by a local to the area, could be a good contact for you.......
