I'm after a load of plugs for tubeless tyre repair, like those by Innovations. These are 1.5mm diameter and I'd like to buy a pack of, say, 50- I already have three of the tools so don't want to buy more of the innovations ones. Anyone know where to get them on their own?
I can find lots of 3mm ones on eBay but those are huge- does anyone use them for bike tyres?
I use the car ones for my bike. I bought a huge pack on ebay and have used about 4. They have all worked perfectly.
I ran out in whistler and bought some tiny bike ones.
They failed to seal some punctures that the car ones would have been fine on. They have gone in the tool box for just incase. I suspect they will stay there.
I used a weldtite (SP?) kit to use the car ones.
You can get a pack of 20 innovations ones from Amazon for £9 - https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01MCYSRCY
Ebay. Get the big ones. I just cut or rip them down to the size in need. You can mend some pretty big holes with them. I got a cut while in the Peaks that took 3 to fill but still in there and perfectly sealed 6 months and 1000km later.
stanley knife may work?
