Anyone know where I can get a spare bite-valve for a Source hydration pack? Or even the tube and valve. Neither Wiggle nor Chain Reaction seem to sell them, JE James have the packs but can't get spares and I've tried 4 outdoor shops and 3 bike shops. Camelback ones are too small.

That's a pain - I always used to get my spares from Wiggle.

A quick google came up with these guys at the top of the list:

Source bite valves are cack. When mine died (actually I persisted with the POS putting up with a wet leg from the steady dripping for about 6 months, why? WHY!) I replaced it with a Camleback Big Bite valve

I managed to get it onto the source tube with just a tiny bit of bodging (I had to sacrifice about 5mm of tube). Then you have the best of both worlds, the Source hydration bag and Camelback valve.

That sounds like a plan. I love the Source bladder but the valve is a bit leaky, even though I do like having a cover for it

Will the big Bite work with a Camelback valve lock?

I've managed to bite holes into two Source valves now so I'm looking to replace with something different too.

Got a Big Bite valve in my Source bladder. Works a treat and no leaks after a long weekend of hard Lakes riding. Whoo hoo!

should be able to fit any valve in as long as the tubing is a similar size
