[#5005453]

have been using a friend's Maxx D all winter as he's been off the bike. he has asked for it back now since he's started riding again.
I do have one of the Chinese '1200 lumen' jobbies but I've been spoiled by the Exposure. I have a Joystick for my helmet so only need a bar mounted light.
Have a budget of up to £200, what do people recommend?

The Lumenator from MTB batteries is well under budget and a fantastic light, with good back-up.

Made my old Hope Vision 4 look woeful by comparison.

If you like exposure lights have a look at their factory seconds:

Can't go wrong with the Gloworm lights IMO, do a search on here and you'll find loads of rave reviews. For just over £200 you can get an X1 & X2 plus a quick release mount and you wont be disappointed. 10% discount for Premier members too. Quality is excellent and good customer services.
