First time I've come across a direct mount front mech, and one thats bottom pull to boot, and I'm slightly confused! I've bought the following

and was hoping someone could confirm its the correct one and fitted correctly. I've removed the bottom bracket plate and its bolted directly to the swingarm??? Is this correct?

Also it says its a top swing mech, but I'm assuming it can be set up as a bottom pull by routing the cable as follows..

Top photo looks fine. Not sure about the bottom one as the photo isn't great, but there can only really be one way for it to go, so if it works then yes you've done it right!

if you're going bottom pull cut the cable fairly short, if you have it long and tuck it away in a nook somewhere it'll rub the frame - or use electrical tape or something
