I was slipping around on icy neve near the summit stretching the legs, when out of the mist comes a rider, bravo, it's not very often you see a rider on Cheviot, I thought I was the only one daft enough to bother ( ie in summer only), seriously hardcore to test the peat bogs lower on the hill, if you read this which way did you come, via the college valley?

We detoured to the summit during the summer when it was dry as a bone, wouldn't do it again. Respect, or crackers.

My initial thought was he must be proper old school, carrying his pitch up their, for some good old bog snorkeling and keeping it real, I totally detest the quagmire these days, a real fairweather softy me.
