yep on way home from work, 2 ambulance journeys and a couple of days in Bristol Heart infirmary, taking my time getting into the swing of things again, spent today building the boys new bike up, promised it since march so now he's almost a happy bunny, just need to bleed rear brake and were sorted.

Blimey, hope you get well soon David.

For me it was a road ride yesterday between Ramsbottom and Bolton.
Today I headed up and over Winter Hill for an absolutely fantastic ride down San Marino following a fairly quick chap on a blue GT full suss, followed by a delicious pint of Black.

(Now *that's* a pint!)

Tomorrow I'll be doing a fairly short local road ride as I have lots to do and Sunday I'll hopefully be going out for a properly long road ride, maybe round Macclesfield, maybe up into the West Pennines.

Took delivery of new Focus Cayo today, so will be out on that tomorrow - a couple of laps round the Island should scratch the itch for the weekend

I'm off for light play in Rowberrow Woods tomorrow on my own. Will be parking at Burrington Combe. Hoping to practice a few little jumps. Gmail me if you fancy it [see profile].

Sunday is the BHF Somerset Levels ride which I'm trundling around with some pals, stopping at every cake opportunity.

Off to brave the crowds @ Cannock for a first try of the new trail, kinda fancy the wrye forest, but being made redundant before the end of the month, so will have lots of free time for it soon.

Probably just a few short-ish local rides. Might go to Cannock on Monday to give the new stuff another go.

Starts here, just after the Bridleway on the right.

If you want to do it by starting with Jambos/Sharki's singletrack then just take the gravel track on the left before the gate leading into Great wood. As the track starts to veer to the left, you should see the singletrack going straight on into the trees.

Get well soon David!

I was racing last night, and I'm working tomorrow, so I might well go for a lap of the local reservoir (about 8 miles ๐Ÿ˜› ), if I ride too fast / far my legs might drop off! ๐Ÿ˜›

A couple of hours trundling on a former railway line, after hitting a log on the trail with my usual panache and flair earlier in the week. Resulted in concussion and bruised ribs ๐Ÿ˜†

Get well soon David!

Had a cracking local spin last night with GeeTee1972 who's up this way for the weekend, I left him for dead on the uphills but he destroyed me on the downhills - just about even then! Jobs today, tomorrow I'm taking my nephew out riding (or climbing indoors if the weather is bad)
