the big blustery bastard defeated us! went on Friday, weather forecast wasnt great but we reckoned we could summit before the worst came in. unfortunately got no higher than about 2000ft on the Llanberis before the gusts were knocking you on your arse and we made the decision to retreat. absolutely gutted. been a miserable bastard all weekend apparently...

Try the trails on the other side of the lake, some cracking stuff over there around the old mines

was glorious on Thursday too! thats what makes it worse. planning another assault next week. shall not rest till ive conquered it now

Clear now... but a bit breezy and the ground's a tad wet... This whole week looks a washout at present.

@jaffejoffer Yr.no is generally spot on for the towns/valleys but use the met office mountain forecast too. It was lovely up there this evening... sorry...
