Oops, not warrantied against racing! I would've avoided all cameras!
Wow. Another broken carbon frame.
Are there any still intact?
I'm guessing someone actually rode right over it perhaps?!
Clearly some people are too rad for xc racing.
It was the start of the Open mens race, there was a gap, someone went for it, suddenly there wasn't a gap, a big pile up ensued!
Anything can break, get over it.
But yeah, big break, at least he was walking
I was kidding DezB, following the weekly "is carbon safe" threads.
ouch looking at the kit on it it looks brand new as well
Cue the worry threads when carbon rims become more widespread.

Fairynuff 🙂
Some of RMs aluminium frames weren't exactly built to last either. ETS-X anyone?
Poor guy. He looks super pi**ed in that second photo: ready-to-punch-a-photographer pi**ed.
Thats the second one of those Vertex frames I've seen snap, there's a guy on here - local to me who had a similar issue
Is that a Ltd Edition Rocky Mountain Brompton or something?
More interesting was the brand new Giant Anthem that they guy finished racing then noticed the 2" stick that had gone clean through his seat stay, leaving a fairly substantial hole!
I was so hoping this was about Manwells hardtail that's been in the classifieds forever (a bargain at £700)
Serves him right for racing with a camel back on.... 😆
I reckon it was the Evans sticker that did it. Bastids 😡
