I'm planning to do the SMBLA and would appreciate recommendations for who to train with.

What made them good, group size, venue etc.

Did ours with Jules Fincham up in Aviemore. Recommended.

You won't see much variation with group size etc. as the ratios are specified by Scottish Cycling. Jules uses the trails round Rothiemurchus forest (including the XC course used for the SSWC) for his courses and also goes to Laggan for the MBL level stuff.

Cyclewise in the lake district, they are the best did my tcl with them back in october and doing MBL training in april.

Good coaching, suiitable banter, good riders and great location/knowledge of trails.
