Hi guys,
I bought an SLX 12 speed and after taking it out of the box it appears bent-
(photo taken lying flat on a bench)
Both sides of the cage appear parallel and no signs of having been damaged so I'm wondering if this is how they are meant to be? perhaps relying on chain tension to pull it straight??
Anyone experience anything similar?

send it back, it's not right.
It's supposed to be bent, theres some youtube videos that explain this, so you can compare to yours. I thought the same when my XT one arrived.
Thanks for the input - it does appear that that's how they come. It's not something I've ever thought to check!

The only thing is now I'm wondering if I even needed a new one after all! I thought I'd bent my old one when it got tangled in the heather - now I'm not sure it's that bad!
I think the SLX and XT have a slight bend. I remember reading a review somewhere that mentioned it.
