So which do I chose? And is 140 and 170 quid for each full set (front and rear with rotors included) a steal or not so much? Any other suggestions to throw a spanner in the works appreciated. Looking to upgrade from giant root mphs and preferably want to spend as little as possible as I am a student but if there's a great bargain to have on some very good quality brakes that will last for years I'll spend up to the 170 quid for the M666s but no more

CentreLock or 6 bolt rotors? Make sure you get the right kind for your hubs.

I've a M665 front brake and its very good. Cant comment on the M666 brakes. Have a look at Rosebikes and actionsports.de too. Think one or t'other had very cheap XT brakes.

6 bolt rotors and don't technically need them, but can find them for only marginally less without (less than a fiver and from a less well known website)

these guys are like crc, but don't clone your card! I bought these, delivered in 4 days, just had to swap the hoses / levers (stuff inc to do it, and easy..)

Going to order some more soon!

Just looked at both rosebikes and actionsports, and with the pound what it is it doesnt look like a fantastic deal unless I'm reading it completely wrong...
EDIT: just refreshed and bugger how did I miss those!? So I've already got rotors (spec just says Giant Root hydraulic discs 160mm) will they do?
