Hi
Putting a new slx drive on the hardtail via some Xmas presents, need a couple of 10sp jockey wheels, are they the same as the xt ones here?

I was told that top wheel and bottom wheels are different... i never knew that ....
Doesn't make an difference to your Qn.... but i was suprised.

Previous XT (RD-M772) used a sealed cartridge bearing for the lower wheel, and a ceramic bushing for the upper one. The bushing allows a little side to side play, maybe 1 mm or so. I would assume that the newer ones are the same.

Not sure but the shadow+ mechs seem to have dropped the bush on the top, no more side to side play, did read somewhere they where all like that now
