riding earlier in the week, the rear almost jammed on and there was no pull and release in the lever. this has eased alittle and it is not catching the rotor when spinning the back wheel, but there is uch less pull and release in the lever than the front one which feels normal.
any suggestios as to what is the problem and how ot fix it

May be a little too much fluid in the system combined with heat related expansion, or maybe something as simple as the lever having been pulled with the wheel off. Try prising the brake pads apart, refitting the wheel and seeing how it goes before you do anything else.
