Hi

I thinking of getting one of the above frames in long and using it in the Alps is summer.

The headangle is quite steep at 68degrees. So to slacken it off i was going to get some offset bushes and a Works Angle set at 2degrees.

But is there any other way of reducing the head angle? I.E. shorter rear shock etc?

Thanks for your help.

As I understand it, offset bushings are exactly that, a bodge to reduce shock length.

Have you ridden it yet? Might be the MTB equivelent of going to a restaurant and puting salt/pepper on your food before tasting it.

I don't think you can fit an angle headset, there are no cups to replace, the bearings press straight into the frame

Not wanting to sound like a crazy person, but maybe just buy a bike with the geometry you're for in the first place?
