Got this as a freeby from Poggy off here and to be honest it had seen better days

A bit of spit, polish and powdercoat later and you get this (just waiting for a Brooks Saddle to show up to finish it off)

im in the process of doing the same it was going to the tip but the bike shop owner charged me £5 for it cheeky buGg3r

Probably knew you'd ride it for a week then get something different and figured he may as well put a taka-tax on it 🙂

Well spotted C-al although only the wheels arew totally new coz the old ones were bolloxed. Most of the shiny stuff is old stuff I had lying about and I stripped the anodising off and polished it all.

Oh and the BMX brake levers are new coz I really liked the size of them

Frame looks gorgeous. Would have preferred proper drops though. Each to their own though 🙂

HIJACK - If anyone wants to build similar, I've got a mid 80s (531) Raleigh frame and forks in a 57cm that are going cheap!

FNB running 46 x 16 gearing which is near as dammit the same as 52 x 18

firestarter if my ass doesn't get on with it I'll keep you in mind
