Bike skills holidays.. any one got any to suggest?? I have a bit of holiday left although limited funds but its been rumoured that there are some good value for money skills holidays in the UK...not fussed about it being ladies only, though still happy to look!

Cheers 🙂

If you wanted to get the sense of both holiday and skills then drop me an email. I do both skills courses and accommodation and happy to put something together for you to get the best of both worlds. Maybe a couple of days exploring the best of the Peak District? Forest Freeride do weekend courses in Wales. They do ladies only, 1 to 1, or mixed AIUI. Accomodation is free in the bunkhouse.

Thanks for the suggestions so far!
Am liking the look of this tho... http://www.chasingtrails.com/mountain-bike-skills-courses/7stanes-mtb-skills-breaks/

Could then look at potential for some extra local knowledge riding while in the area?!

Nick speaks the truth ^^^ we try and be as flexible as possible, so something like a one to one training course, followed by a days guiding or an overnight trip would be easily catered for. Stay in the bunkhouse (think small cottage) for a £5 donation to the Wales Air Ambulance ... job done 😀

A selling point of forestfreeride, aside from his course, is the tonnes of awesome riding nearby that Stu can point you at, or guide.

I didn't have masses of time, so drove up and rode Nant-yr-Arian twice, then coaching the following day, then Climachx the following morning before driving home. I was itching to explore the nearby hill-trails. Time, as always, was the constraint.

Go and see Jedi/ Tony Doyle, you can camp at Herts Shore which is Tony's bespoke training Ground.

When you arrive the night before your training day the fire will be lit.
An awesome curry house is about 10 miles away, or Tony knows some lads who will deliver. Then sit round the fire pit that's under some of the highest and skinniest north shore you have ever seen. Look up at the stars and dream. Wake up in the morn, make coffee round the fire pit, Tony will ride the skinnies that last night you thought were impossible, then he will show you how to do stuff you never thought you could do.
