Yay, a dedicated ebike channel. Interesting to see how many hits it gets compared with the main forum. I don't recall seeing any promotion of it on the front page though.

Been on Facebook for about a year, cos all the (mostly ‘merkin) sensitive souls couldn’t bear to read about ebikes on the main page.

Saw one of those Orbea e-bikes the other day, very cool idea for more 'normal' people than the current maxx-power bikes. Smaller motor, smaller batteries, electric assist* (and if no one told you the hub is small enough to be mistaken for a power meter or a big carbon hub!)
*say it all you want, yes you still have to pedal an e-bike, but even on the bare minimum setting you barely tickle the pedals to breeze along at 15mph.

Judging by the last posting on Tech they all moved on 2 months ago.
I suspect they all moved back to the iLounge forum where the truly cool hang out and post iPhone unboxing videos.
