Converted my old Scott Scale hardtail 26"to single speed (32x16), went out tonight round local trails and have not had so much fun in ages - legs felt it but I laughed the whole way - brilliant, everyone should have a SS!

glad you've tried it, and gladderer that you enjoyed it. its all just about having fun, whatever the bike (but SS are best...sometimes 😀 )
