Either. Both work just fine. I think I have 1/8" at the moment but only because I got it cheap.

1/8 at moment, because the last sprocket I bought was a DMR 1/8. I had to buy a new chain so got a KMC Pintle half link chain which looks reassuringly industrial.

if you want to run fixed it is easier to get hold of 1/8" sprockets.

Z510 1/8" KMC Gold. Last for ages and just a little bit blinge 8) £8.00ish on ebay.

3/32 comes in a nice blue rust free version from halfords for under a fiver

3/32 gusset half link here. Fits in the tensioner, looks very bling nice quality nickel chrome stretches a bit but that no problem with a tensioner and halflinks.
