Oh dear the single speed niche haw club gains another victim. Attitude to be a single speeder ? none required. You do however require a huge pair of Kn@ckers and the ability to drink and still ride like a god 8)

Re: Tensioner. I used an old, medium cage LX mech. I used longer bolts for the jockey wheels so that a 1/8" chain would pass through smoothly, and I run both jockey wheels on top of the chain. I run the chain as tight as I can which pulls the cage almost flat.

Hasn't dropped once, and still allows easy wheel removal. If I was being really stupid I'd be scouring the classifieds for a knackered XTR med cage, just for some sort of perverse upgrade to my tensioner... ๐Ÿ˜€
