[#5121913]

I need a new rear wheel for my single speed which currently has a white industries eno freewheel on it which I'd like to re use.

Most of the single speed hubs that I can see have a mini cassette not a screw thread.

Can I use my eno with any single speed hub by just removing the cassette or does it have to be a threaded hub?

Needs to be threaded.

Just RIding Along built me some singlespeed Hope/Stans wheels that lasted the Tour Divide twice and all the training in between.

They'll custom build anything you like, can definitely get Surly bits, and will advise you on the phone if you're not sure about rims/spokes etc.

Surly SS hubs here on good old non-tyre fussy Mavics.
They have "adjustable" (pricey) cartridge bearings, but I think they can be swapped out for non-adjustable ones. ๐Ÿ™‚
Best things is they let you run a White Ind freewheel. ๐Ÿ™‚

Next time I'll get some Pro2's, so I can run SS/geared/QR/20mm etc.
And in red.
I need red hubs. ๐Ÿ™‚

I built a wheel up for a mate on a dmr threaded ss disc hub: it was pretty nice for the money, and iirc comes in a few colours.
