Single speed hub options...

Evening all...

Freewheel disintegrated on my old Planet-X dog hubs today much to my annoyance.

I'll fix em, but I'm thinking about a new set of wheels, and quite fancy a proper singlespeed hub. Has to be a cassette type one as I'm tempted by belt drive also.

Any suggestions? Cheap would be good!

I love my Hope trials / ss hub, but rather disappointed that ALL of the pawl leaf springs fractured in less than 9 months of use. Maybe I freewheel too much?.... The noise is great to avoid spooking ramblers.

Usual great Hope service (complete new freehub 2 days after posting) but rather it didn't happen in the first place (we have an old coil spring Hope XC hub from 1996 that is still on the original springs)

Any 9/10 speed hub that takes your fancy with a wide base sprocket and spacers.
