Sorry if I have made a duplicate thread here! I have tried to look but cant seem to find anything relevant, just people asking what chain device to run 🙁
I've just bought a Superstar Plasma for my new build, I currently have these crank arms: [url= http://www.tredz.co.uk/.Shimano-M430-Alivio-chainset-Octalink-FCM430_42784.htm ]here[/url] but have replaced the third ring with a bash guard.
I know I have the right ring size as it states it on the superstar site (at least im able to read 8) )
What I need to know is whether I can run this chainset (with the bash on outer mount and the inner ring (22t) removed)? or would the mount that the 32t ring is mounted on be spaced too far out?
Hope someone can help me out!
PS wouldnt mind if it ends up in me buying a new chainset, been needing the excuse for months! 😆
You cant use it with a bashguard.
