fair play to the bloke he rides his bikes a lot.

Average a 160 miles a week is pretty good.

I beat him on 5 minute power, but on everything else he seems like a very able rider. Still don't like him and would take great pleasure in loosening his skewers though!

If I were Dubya I'd pop the garmin in one of the secret service boys camelbak

Mind you I'd also have slightly dif foreign policy on stuff that restricted contraception in places like south america...

EDIT: interesting comment re. a cucumber ๐Ÿ˜‰

I did wonder if maybe it was a fake account, what with the "far out, man." tag line? that and the photo lifted straight from wikipedia, all the friends and rides in California etc etc

Also, he's riding exclusively in the Bay area which doesn't seem like his natural home. Or indeed his actual home.

i'm not sure the people paid to protect him would let him ride about with a gps which allows people to view where he was a few hours previous...

I have never ridden a 29er so can't comment on what they ride like, but have never been convinced for that they are the future as they don't look to be that nimble but probably are, the 650B size wheel seems a much better wheel size and compromise between the 26 & 29 and I could even see downhill bikes adopting the 650 format. I just like the idea for some unknown reason, or perhaps after reading the article in the latest stw issue and MTB's first started out as 650B.

and a fake George W doesn't ride a 650B which is another attraction.
