Just want people's opinions on whether to go for a single chain ring (maybe 34th) with a chain guide or just add a chain guide to my double SLX chain set. Main riding is downhill with pedalling back to the top! Cheers guys 🙂

Check out the 1x10 discussion going on at present.
I would get a double chainguide and keep your granny ring, with or without the front mech/shifter/cabling as you can always use your right heel to kick-down.
