yup have the choice of:
sun singletrack rims on a deore front, xt rear (vgc) .....or
xm317 on deore rear, scott front (brand new)
Both cost the same, need to sell one pair, which shall i sell?
im thinking keep the singletrack's?

Singletracks are way burlier than 317's, so depends what you want them for.

317 is a budget XC rim
Singletracks are nearly a freeride rim!

hehe thanks guys, i will be keeping the singletracks then as i need something a bit sturdy.
always been wary of breaking stuff marked as XC...not that im gnarly or anything 🙂
