Got to go to up Silverdale way this w/e.
Can anyone recommend any routes round there - is it worth taking the bike?

Nothing legal, but some great cheeky stuff. Bogtrotters did a ride there on Wed, check their web page. I think if you check the rides list it has a route and everything.
Just be polite to the walkers.

We have a caravan near there,if i was you i would get off early as with the weather it will be full of walkers everywhere, I noticed nearly everwhere there are signs no biking etc, visit newsagents/bike shop, when i did they basically said as above alot of cheeky stuff, all locals use them just go early.
