It's not bad, as it happens I'm off riding in that area this afternoon.
I've only ridden sections of it as I don't have an appropriate bike (or skill, or nadgers either if truth be told ๐ณ )
It's not far from where I live but I'd watch those directions to he carpark, they're less than comprehensive...
wombat - would you be so kind to comprehensively advise how to get to the car park ?
Where are you travelling from?
Wombat - Can you describe the trails a bit please?

The parking is at the top right corner of this map (if the link works ok) The grid ref is SE467937.
Assuming you're heading north up the A19 take a right turn signed to Nether Silton. This turn is effectively a crossroads on a dual carriageway so you'll need to use the refuge in the central reservation to turn right. IIRC it's the first right after the Borrowby/Knayton junction. It's on an uphill section just before the crest of the hill.
Once you leave the A19 the sliproad dips downhill and then turns right over a small bridge.
Follow the signs to Nether Silton.
Go through Nether Silton (pub on left then cricket club on the right) and about 200 yards after the village take the first left. Continue along this road for about 300 yards until the road goes uphill and bends to the left, there will be a right turn here, take it (it's marked as a no through road) take it steady along here as it's a narrow "brazillian" road with a few houses and occasional children playing.
Follow this for just under a mile and park at the end.
Trails are twisty singletrack, a good few berms and jumps. Entertaining but I don't ride it very much partly for the reasons outlined above and partly as I've not contributed to the construction and it seems a bit cheeky to use something I've not helped create.
Ridden many times at Silton and it's a great little track. Nice jumps good berms and some rocks to keep things lively. There is two tracks and both contrast each other completely, one being jumps, berms and rocks and the other being in the woods so 'loamy', but a lot shorter and less maintained.
Definitely worth a visit.
Is it all DH - ie push up?
Nice one wombat - cheers ๐
