Hi guys,

This might seem an obvious question but what is the differance between a hydraulic, dropper, gravity and mecanical seatposts?

please dont say gravity, fluid and gears lol

Hydraulic and Mechanical are the way the lever (and hence, lockout) works, but can also be how the damping/spring is described.
Dropper and Gravity - Gravity Dropper were one of the first to produce a workable post. So, a bit like Hoover, Dropper is now used to cover the group of height adjustable posts.

so the reverb is a HYD post, and the Kronolog is a MECH post.

i have seen a reverb in action but has anyone used a Kronolog yet? how does it compare?
