.. . wasps have very little nutritional value ๐ก . Just reached the final part of the Cwmcarn DH this morning, grinning like a loon, when I felt a sting on the back of my throat - think I must have managed to cough it up as b@$tard got my tongue on the way out too ๐ฟ . Must admit I was a bit scared as I was on my own and could feel it starting to swell so I headed for the visitor centre and sat outside there for 15 minutes or so until I was happy to ride home. Still a bit swollen and throat is pretty sore but I reckon chocolate will help ๐
Chocolate ice-cream would be better....he he he a box of Magnums maybe?
ouch !
something stung my leg yesterday, no idea wht it was I didn't see it. No swelling or anything, just looks like someone had put a lit match out on my leg, still felt like it was on fire this morning !
A bee got me in the mouth at the back of the lip ๐ฅ few weeks ago, I just squeezed the sting out and carried on as I am dead hard ๐ฏ Lots of beer would be better! ๐ฎ
That happened to me on a road ride - scary few mins as I was between villages and my tounge/throat started to swell - couldn't decide whether it was best to go as fast as I could or to go slowly in case it swelled further. Decided to go fast. Swelling reduced on its own luckily but not nice.
Hope you recover fast. Enjoy the choc ๐
I always thought the UK fauna was relatively benign, until Saturday. Chased off the local hills by clouds of flying ants! I can confirm that ant bites are more immediately painful than nettle stings, but less tingly the next day.
Chocolate was lovely - hot coffee less so. You're right lipseal, beer would've been better ๐
Little ****ers....i got done twice in two weeks recently, one on the throat and once on the shin. Reckon thats got to be my quota for the year.
