Will be like so by the end of the week hopefully, Excuse my rubbish photo shopping skills. Also has 90mm stem now.

I like it because its my only bike, and it rides pretty darn good considering the spec.

Quick question, is there anything wrong with my garden? 😉

Because it doesn't break.

(Am however thinking about going back to steel (had a Trailstar for years before this) - same build (although maybe longer forks too), just on a BFe frame).

And here's my other bike. Dunno if I'd say I love it but it's good for fitness rides. Gets more use than my mtb as we don't have much interesting off road but loads of nice quiet flattish country roads.

Now that the trails are dry, it's the most fun I can have without killing myself, even more than my hardtail.

Because it makes me wonder why I have two mountain bikes and a road bike, when this does it all.

This is the favourite at the moment, because it's the one I've been riding almost everytime I've been out recently.

Love it 'cos it's orange and I've got it back 😛

I still reserve the right to whinge about the lack of [s]travel[/s] skill compensation (in fact negotiations are underway for something, er, bigger to fall off on the d/h track) but Gibson ain't going anywhere this time.

Take care Ton.

Just a really great bike to ride. If I'm not riding it I get withdrawal symptoms.

Because, it's light, handles great and I can ride a long way and climb lots, fast...

[img] [/img]

With a new set of "race day" wheels it will soon be a lot lighter, which will mean...

I can ride a long way and climb lots, faster 😀

Because it feels like it's always got more travel in reserve, climbs ok and descends like a mother. I know the back tyre looks weird; I found out it was punctured after the photo!

Alas, this will turn into a Cotic Soul within the next week. Boys and their toys 🙄

why? cos it's so much fun! i loved my old kona but it was a wee bit short. also, i couldn't run a rear disc and tyre clearance meant i couldn't run anything bigger than 2.2". this one is so much fun! as soon as i start riding, i don't wanna turn back - i feel like i could carry on for ever!
