Probaly been done before but I would love it if some of you SS riders could post up some pics for inspiration. Would also be good to see what gear ratio you have set up!
So what have you got?
You wanna see my SS yeah?
Well, I just got a new one and it's the ****ing nuts:
29er rear, cos it's cool.
24er front, for uphilling.
Drop bars, for no good reason at all.
Running 62:13, anything less is for soggy young lady's shirts.
EDIT: and it ain't got cranks, cos they're for softies an' all.
what fork are you running on that, banana?
Dunno, found 'em in a skip and heard of this poor guy with a slipped-disc who can't ride much these days but does WICKED resprays on whatever and got him to bend them straight for me and make them that RAD new colour you see here.
sick!
Doh! I came onto this thread to just rip the pi55 a bit but, postierich, your bike is actually a reet proper stunner an' a half: a perfect blend of old, new and middle-school.
What frame is that? What's the deal with your rear disk mount: slidey?
Syncros stems ahoy!!
Cheers Bananadude had a synros old school seat post but killed it on a gnarly ride, slidey dropouts are Pauls components ones and its a Sunn enduro frame from "back in the day"

Really? ok, you asked.

Ratio - 44:16 I think. Actually looking at the cog size I'm doubting this, maybe 40:16.

I'm building mine up this afternoon. Never had one before.
Going down the DMR route should be fun.

Just finished putting this together 3 days ago. running a 32 x 16, though change to 32 x 18 for the real hills. The snow in the background fell this morning, more due later this week down to 1400m (in case you wondered I live in the Alps)
