I have had a cove hustler for 4 years now (2006 model bought s/h), and love it. It has possibly died after an unfortunate encounter with the powder coaters (should get it inspected soon, fingers crossed it will be fine and it was just a rubbish finish and will be redone).
I bought a cove g spot (old one) not long ago to run with some 36s and the stuff from the hustler for our yearly alps trip. this worked fine, but was a bit of a faff.
I noticed the 5 will take 160 forks, where the hustler shouldn't. I am thinking of just running a 5 and change/turn up the forks when we go away. Should be easier. Or shall I just run the hustler with 36s if it is stil ok?
I have now had a ride on the 5 and it seems good. I have problems with the fit of most bikes where i have to put the saddle right back to get the angle with the pedals right. the stiffee I ride is pretty good, with the hustler I really sit all the way back on the saddle to get the angle right. I don't think it is too small, just a geo and being a girl thing. My husbands medium endure was worse!
So experiences of the 5 and perhaps hustler pls, also in the alps.
.....and some pics ๐
Thanks

One word......search.
Tried that, not much info on this specific geo problem though....... Sadly for me it could possbly make a bike unridable for me.
And hoping other people owned both.
Thanks anyway.
