Depends. The snow's here now in some places. I know last year it was the week after bonfire night that we had our final adventure of the year, so it must be about the end of the big mountain season for bikes til the end of February now.

Is that the Walna Scar road up from Seathwaite dingus - or somewhere altogether different? Loving the mist tendrils.
No, it's the horrible fireroad climb that takes you up to the top of Càrn Bàn Mòr in the Cairngorms. The weather was pretty dramatic that day.
