I ride a 2001 cannondale jackyl the bike in good nic rides great and is prity well fitted out for a old girl but she's showing her age the frame is looking old and taty is it worth painting the frame is
Yep, raw or powder coat, well worth it!
Or buy an Orange Five and get stung £1k + for a frame with the same suspension technology 😉

Don't know about rethink i might go with paint going to look on ebay for decals
Respraying yourself probably doesn't make sense unless you want a really basic job- the paint, masking tape, wet and dry (and maybe paintstripper, wire wheel, polishing stuff if you want a good finish) will add up to £20-£30, then add in your time. And you'll almost certainly get a less good result too- spraying a good finish with rattle cans isn't so hard but it's a knack, and even then, most sprays aren't very durable.
