I have a boardman team carbon and a alan crosser converted to SS but still fancy a steal Cotic Road Rat probably with drops and set up as SS...should I?
Will it add much to my carbon geared road bike or my Alu crosser?

Yeah I just did, and am going to be putting a rack on the back which will of course make it thoroughly justified.
does it ride well? compared to other mounts?
I got the long (med) so is flat barred. Not had much chance for a proper outing, just the next village and back but I like it.
Rides like it should, rolls like a RB but comfortable like an MTB.

I think I am a medium? 5 10 tall with 31 inch inside leg. I am about 18 inch MTB frame.
I think I prefer the drops as the flats might make it feel too much like a MTB.
About to push the button on a crosser...can't see pas the Pompetamine for value.
I just have, finishing building it today, I got a small/short on Cy's say so. Intend to run 1x9 with Flat bars at first, but looking at drops and SS in a bit.

I fancy the builders tea colour but they only have that in a small 🙁
i'm 5ft 4" and have a 27.5" inside leg.
in otherwords 'short'.

if after drops then maybe a cross check? i have one and love it
I had a roadrat found it quite harsh. Now on pomp (w/gears) which has singular peregrine forks, which is much more comfy.... imho.

put some V brakes and my road bike wheels on for the moment, just need to change the bearings in some Roadrat wheels I bought and get some cable discs next week and we are sorted.
Drops and SS after that 🙄
