Hi,

I am working in Hebden Bridge next week and hope to take my bike and get out in the evenings.

I am looking for a route that will take 2 hours or less for a slightly out of condition MTBer to complete.

I have found the route below but this is a bit too long.

Can anyone provide links to rides of this type?

Thanks

There is a great bike shop in Hebden Bridge called Blazzing Saddles - I'm sure if you pop in there they will sort you out with all the route info you need.

Thanks will try that.

STW28 (May 2006) had two routes in the the area which I have found as GPS routes at the link below:

http://www.mtbsharp.co.uk/routes/s_pennines/s_w_yorks/index.html

I do not suppose that any kind soul would have the mag and could scan the routes for me?

You can open GPX files in google maps -

e.g.

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=http:%2F%2Fwww.mtbsharp.co.uk%2Froutes%2Fs_pennines%2Fs_w_yorks%2Fhebden_bridge_easy_stw28.gpx&sll=53.800651,-4.064941&sspn=19.196147,39.506836&ie=UTF8&z=14

I think I might have the PDFs of those route guides on my hard drive - will have a look, they might be on my PC at work though

As said above, talk to John or Bolty in Saddles. they will point you in the right direction.
