Anyone know of any 40 - 45mm stems with a +/- rise more than 7 degrees? I can only find 7 degree ones but trying to lower the bars on a drop bar MTB.

I've got a 55mm Syntace Flatforce that I bought very nearly new from someone on this forum, but have then never ended up using ironically...

This is as short and as much of a drop as I could find commercially available at the time I was looking...

Would this work? I'm not sure how 10mm converts into degrees.

Why would you want to convert to degrees? I've never understood why stems use this ridiculous measurement - it's entirely meaningless in this context.  Is it a hang over from road bikes or when stems were 100mm+ long?

What you want it a base to centre line stack height as this is the only thing not dependent on the height of the stem and it's a repeatable measurement across all stem designs. Frustratingly +/-10mm doesn't seem to tie in with any of that and looks like it's measured from stem centre line. Fine if you're comparing with otherwise identical stems but most of the time you're not.  Crackers.

I don't particularly, but the OP specifically asks for a rise over 7° & I don't know if 10mm meets this.

If you can live with 55mm (I appreciate that this is 10mm over your max, would drop bars with less reach work?) there's the Syntace Flatforce.

I've been using this tool to help calculate what size stem i need.

https://www.myvelofit.com/stem-calculator/

55mm would be too long. Had a 60mm stem before and it was too long.
