Right, what are good MTB shoes. Currently using Merrell boots but the DMR pedals are ruining the soles. Want something that will be reasonably heavy duty and cope with mud and rain.

Shimano am41's(?) Fivetens have insoles and heel cups made of cardboard. I'm not even kidding.
