I'm looking for some advice, in simple terms, of what my options are for improving the performance of my new stock RockShox Super Deluxe air shock?

I'm fairly light and it feels as though it compresses and rebounds slowly, lacking the lively lighter surge and pop that I've experienced with other shocks. I'm not that clued up to the correct terminology but could it be down to much dampening and is this something that can be addressed with a custom tune?

Also, can anyone share their experiences and advice on getting a custom tune?

Thanks in advance

If you are less than 65kg or more than 85kg, then the stock valving probably won't be very suited for you. Depends how you ride of course, but a decent tuner will take that into account.
