Bit of a suspension noob question here so please be gentle! 🙂
I’ve adjusted my rear shock (RS Monarch 3.1), to get a bit more movement out of it as it was running fairly stiffly before. It’s much better at soaking up hits now but the rear derailleur now bangs/grinds on the frame when the shock compresses.
Is it just a matter of adjusting the derailleur height to solve this, or is the shock working outside of its limits? Thanks!

Shock should,nt be outside its limits.Unless there is a design fault.Try the Derailleur adjustment. what gearing do you have?Deores of old had this problem.

try a small ajustment in derailleur height along with a small increase in shock pressure and rebound/damping adjustment if you have the facility on that shock.
