I have an old frame I'm looking to revive a bit and one of the things it needs is a new shock. Looking around this looks quite attractive: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/rockshox-monarch-rt-rear-shock-ex-demo/rp-prod131959 owing to price mainly!
However, looking at it a bit more closely it looks a bit odd, I need a 165 eye to eye and a 38mm stroke. This is noted as 165x63 but I can't find any other instances on the web of those specs in a Monarch so my guess is that is a typo unless anyone on here can suggest an alternative explanation?
I'm also a bit lost for mount kits, my lower mount is 22mm long with an 8mm internal dia which is fine and available on CrC and a few pther places. My top mount needs to be 46mm by 8mm according to my measurements of the current shock. I can't find mount hardware for a monarch to fit these specs - does it exist?
Finally, if you've made it this far! I can get mount hardware for different shocks in the correct sizes I'm assuming it would be fine to use provided the shock it's for has an internal eye dia of 12.7mm which is what the monarch is (I think?)

The likes of TF Tuned can provide mounts of any length or diameter to suit most shocks.
Hi

given the price I'd search ebay for shock 165 and then try to get a mount kit that fits the bike to the shock
