Why? Using flat bars
Don't fit in what way? Which frame?
They fitted mine..
They won't slide all the way up the mounts.so the pins won't go in the holes.ritchey fork
Some posts need a clean, and sometimes they're painted on the lower section - removing that paint should do the trick. Posts are standard*, there's nothing special about CX bikes.
*Apart from U-brake and Paul's ones.
As above - posts should be standard. Wire brush them? A smear of grease after?
Then a damn good shove [line up the pins/hols first].
Wire brush them?
Coarse wire wool is better.
I can force the rears onto the frame.
but the fronts simply cant get close enough to where the pin inserts into the hole.
tried on my daughters bike and its fine - they slide right up the mount.
hmmmmmm.
its like the bosses are too long. but my trp eurox cantis fit the forks fine.
Have you had other brakes on the fork? I had a rigid fork with badly made bosses once, I got it replaced FOC.
nope - the bosses look like they are replaceable as they have a flat section for a spanner - maybe they do a replacement.
the bosses should be the best as the fork is worth £350 ritchey wcs cyclocross fork.
Hmmmmm....
Is the fork new?
What if anything was fitted before?
Exact model of the fork and year of manufacture?
Pics, please 🙂
You might also just want to email Ritchey as this sound a bit odd 😀
