Yesterday after a ride I went to take the axle out of my frame to get the wheel off (rear, ax-sm65, 142x12) and the cam and qr lever came undone and out of the frame, leaving the axle in there.
I had to undo the grub screw in the frame, drift the whole axle and nut assembly out and unscrew in a vice with molgrips.
Had I had a puncture on that ride I would have been completely stuck and not able to remove the wheel!
Anyone else had this? How do I prevent it from happening again?
